Formerly known as the Newton Wave Pool, the recreation centre’s popular pool features the biggest waves in the West. There are also water slides, a children’s waterpark, and a hot tub. The brand new weight room and fitness centre boast modern equipment. The most unique feature at the Newton Recreation Centre is the wrestling room – the only public one in all of Surrey.
Located in downtown Newton, the Newton Recreation Centre is surrounded with countless shopping, dining, and activity options. Across from the recreation centre is the Newton Arena, open for public skating year-round, as well as Hollywood 3 Cinema, where you can catch the latest films. Along the adjacent King George Boulevard are many hotel options for out-of-town guests, including the Best Western and King George Inn & Suites.
