BC Soccer Announces Central City Breakers (CCB) as host for 2017 Jubilee & Challenge Trophies

Vancouver, BC – August 9, 2017 – In a press release earlier this morning, Canada Soccer announced Toyota Canada as its title sponsor for National Championships, along with host cities for the competitions through 2019.

In addition, BC Soccer is pleased to announce that it will now host the 2017 Toyota National Championships in partnership with the Central City Breakers FC (CCB) after the Fraser Valley Soccer League unfortunately withdrew from hosting the event late last month.

Following a successful site visit from Canada Soccer, Newton Athletic Park in Surrey, BC has been confirmed as the new location of the event which will take place October 4th – 9th, 2017. The park includes multiple soccer specific artificial turf and grass fields and features a grandstand stadium, ideal for highlighting final matches. With formal support from the City of Surrey, the newly formed LOC, comprised of representatives from BC Soccer, CCB and chaired by BC Soccer’s VP Adult, Rob Brown, is looking forward to putting on a first-class event for teams, spectators and soccer fans alike coming from across the country.
