Canadian Soccer Adult National Championships

October 3, 2017 - October 9, 2017

Surrey is excited to announce that the 2017 Toyota National Soccer Championships will be hosted in our community in October this year! Teams that qualify for this event will have the opportunity to play at Newton Athletic Park, one of the many phenomenal sport facilities that Surrey has to offer.  It features multiple grass and artificial fields as well as covered seating, perfect for showcasing the high-stake games. Since Langley withdrew from hosting this event, our city will be host to both the Men’s Challenge Trophy and Women’s Jubilee Trophy, with Surrey’s Central City Breakers (CCB) being the hosting team. The Challenge Trophy is one of the oldest soccer competitions in Canada as this year marks the 95th annual competition. The Women’s Jubilee Trophy however is a newer event and this will be the 36th year of competition. Out of the hundreds of teams that entered provincial championships throughout our country, only the best of the best will qualify to play in the National Championships taking place in Surrey this fall. This national event will be bringing out some of the most talented athletes to Surrey, so be sure to check out Newton Athletic Park from October 4-9th.
